Things To Do When You’re Sad

When you’re sad, you probably don’t want something to step in and immediately make you happy. At least for me it’s that way. I like time to let my mind be sad. But here’s a list of things I like to do when I’m sad.

  • Wrap up in a ridiculous amount of blankets
  • Watch a movie by yourself
  • Write out your feelings
  • Go somewhere in nature you’ve never been before
  • Groom yourself
  • Dress up, and take yourself on a date
  • Read a good book
  • Paint a picture
  • Talk to an old friend
  • Find a new band
  • Bake something
  • Buy new socks
  • Take a nap on the floor
  • Write a piece of music
  • Go for a drive with the windows down
  • Stalk people on Facebook
  • Get a free sample at See’s
  • Find new recipes (for later)
  • Redecorate something you own
  • Declutter your room
  • Build a fort
  • Invite a friend you don’t know very well over to bake a pie
  • Take a long warm bath
  • Think too much
  • Figure what you can do now so you’ll feel a little  better tomorrow
